RE-IMAGINING HJFS MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
After thoughtful consideration, the HJFS mental health outreach program will be placed on a pause later this month. This is a necessary step while we work towards our re-imagined programs and services targeted for Winter 2024.
NOW MORE THAN EVER, WELL-BEING MATTERS.
Mental health concerns, economic uncertainties, unstable housing, food insecurity, and more. Now more than ever, we know that these things contribute to individuals’ mental health and well-being challenges. During our transition time, we will remain responsive and continue to provide resources and referrals as needed.  If you, or someone you know in the community, needs help, please reach out.
MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING SERVICES OFFERED BY HJFS WILL LOOK DIFFERENT IN THE FUTURE.
Just like other agencies offering similar services, we are taking this pause to assess and rebuild our strategy to best serve the needs of the community and provide sustainability for the long run. We also want to assure the generous donors to the Hamilton Jewish Federation Annual Campaign that the funding dollars earmarked for these services will in fact be allocated to a more sustainable mental health program.
