Mindful Compassion for Teens
Mindful Self-Compassion for Teens (MSC-T) is an evidence-based 8-session program that helps youth develop resilience, emotional well-being, and healthier ways of relating to themselves.
Through age-appropriate activities, mindfulness practices, discussions, and guided meditations, participants learn practical skills to:
- Respond to life’s challenges with kindness and self-compassion
- Recognize and understand difficult emotions without self-judgment
- Build resilience and cope with stress more effectively
- Develop a sense of connection and belonging with peers
- Cultivate greater emotional balance and confidence
Research has shown that Mindful Self-Compassion can improve emotional well-being, reduce stress, and strengthen resilience. Teens leave the program with lifelong tools to navigate the ups and downs of adolescence with greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and compassion.
The program is led by Natalie Sobel, RSW, a trained Mindful Self-Compassion teacher with specialized training in Mindful Self-Compassion for Teens (MSC-T).
