Hamilton Jewish Family Services assists Jewish Holocaust survivors through funding from The Claims Conference (Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany).
The Claims Conference provides grants to agencies that support Holocaust survivors worldwide and administers direct payment programs for eligible victims, following German government guidelines based on persecution experience and current residence. There is no fee to apply for compensation.
Our Support Services Include:
- Homecare assistance (personal support workers, occupational therapy assessments, light housekeeping).
- Gift cards for food and other essential needs.
Additionally, The Claims Conference offers an Emergency Assistance Program to help survivors facing urgent, short-term financial needs.
At Hamilton Jewish Family Services, we are dedicated to helping survivors maintain their independence and remain in their homes with the proper support.
