Holocaust Survivors

HELPING OUR HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS

Hamilton Jewish Family Services assists Jewish Holocaust survivors via funds provided by The Claims Conference – The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

The Claims Conference provides grants to agencies that provide social services for Holocaust survivors worldwide and administers direct payment programs to certain eligible Holocaust victims.

Some of the supports we currently offer include access to homecare support (PSW, OT assessments, light housecleaning, etc) and Emergency Funds (including emergency rent, food, and medical cost assistance).

We believe in keeping our Survivors independent and in their homes as long as possible, with the proper supports in place.

To learn more, or apply for compensation programs, visit: The Claims Conference.
