Hamilton Jewish Family Services in partnership with JVS Toronto’s EMETemployment program helps Jewish job seekers in Hamilton, Niagara, and the surrounding area prepare for, find, and secure suitable employment. Whether you are looking for work, exploring a new career direction, or are new to Canada, we can help connect you with personalized employment support.
One-on-one Employment Support
Through our partnership with JVS Toronto’s EMETemployment program, eligible Jewish job seekers can work with a dedicated employment counsellor.
Support may include:
- Career exploration and employment counselling
- Job-search guidance
- One-on-one resume and cover-letter assistance
- Interview preparation and coaching
- Support communicating with prospective employers
- Referrals to training, workshops, and additional employment resources
Free Online Workshops
Free virtual workshops to help job seekers build practical skills and confidence. Topics may include interview skills, resume writing, LinkedIn, networking, job-search strategies, and more.

EMETemployment is JVS Toronto’s Jewish community employment initiative for unemployed and underemployed job seekers. It combines career and job-search support with employer outreach, helping both job seekers and employers throughout the hiring process.
