Adults Investing in Emotional Well-Being: WHAT? ME WORRY?

Session 2 of 5 week course in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Anxiety.

The famous author, Mark Twain, wrote: “I’ve had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened” Does Anxiety take up more space in your life than you would like? Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is considered the “gold standard” of modalities to help reduce the anxiety in your life which is not helpful. You can keep the helpful anxiety!

Time:   Sundays   9:30 am – 11 am  (for five consecutive weeks)

Duration:  1.5 hours per session

Facilitator:   Natalie Sobel, MSW, RSW

Fee:  $40 (negotiable in case of financial hardship)      Capacity: Minimum of 8 and maximum of 10 participants

NOTE: Prospective participants will need to speak with course facilitator for a brief assessment; participants will receive a course manual and will be asked to try out the strategies learned as home practice. Any classroom sharing is restricted to what pertains to their learning in the program.
