JOIN US IN THE FIGHT AGAINST HUNGER
The Hamilton Jewish Family Services’ Kosher Food Bank is funded by generous donors from the community, The Hamilton Community Foundation, The Azrieli Foundation, The City of Hamilton, and Mazon Canada. The Food Bank continues to be in high demand and the list of families who need our help continues to grow:
- Approximately 100 families use the food bank on a regular basis; our numbers double during holiday times
- 400 meals to low-income seniors are served on a monthly basis. These meals are healthy and delicious!
ELIGIBILITY
Clients of the food bank must either:
- Be a member of the Jewish community in Hamilton or surrounding areas
- Live within 4 km of the Hamilton Jewish Family Services offices

HOURS
Monday to Thursday 8:30 am – 1:30 pm
The Kosher Food Bank allows clients to collect their own goods once a month according to the size of the household and their needs. Cereal, produce, canned vegetables, pasta, tuna fish, soup and pasta and dried foods are offered as well as kosher frozen chickens and frozen ground beef. All food items are certified kosher.
Non-food items such as toothpaste, shampoo and soap are also available to clients.
